MUHAMMAD SPOKE THE SATANIC VERSES

A Refutation to Silas’s Article @ “answering-islam” Website

 

The Crusader Silas has authored an article under the title cited above. After reading that article I was stunned to learn Silas’s imbecilic thought process. The article is as usual lengthy and filled with non-Islaamic references and unnecessary and/or off target copy and paste. Somehow Silas has deficiency for using the facts and correct sources. But again, his objective is not to seek the truth, it is rather to distort the truth.

 

Since English is not my mother tongue, so I first consulted the Dictionary, to make sure what “Satanic” means {lol}. This is what I found in American Heritage Dictionary:

sa·tan·ic (s…-t²n“¹k, s³-) or sa·tan·i·cal (-¹-k…l) adj. 1. Relating to or suggestive of Satan or evil. 2. Profoundly cruel or evil; fiendish. --sa·tan“i·cal·ly adv.

There is no entry in the Thesaurus for the word of Satanic.

 

Now Let us examine the evidence Silas has presented:

 

Silas cited the following Hadeeth along with his insignificant comments:

EVIDENCE FROM SAHIH HADITH THAT MUHAMMAD SPOKE THE SATANIC VERSES

There are references to the event found in Bukhari. Although the actual Satanic verses are not recorded by Bukhari, part of the event is related:

6.385 Narrated Ibn Abbas:
The Prophet performed a prostration when he finished reciting Surat an-Najm, and all the Muslims and pagans and Jinns and human beings prostrated along with him.

What is of note here is that the Hadith states that after Muhammad spoke "The Star", the pagans prostrated. This is exactly what the four biographers state. Remember, the pagans were totally opposed to Muhammad. They disliked him; he frequently insulted their faith. Yet here, something Muhammad said, caused them to prostrate with him and the Muslims, in "one accord". Muhammad had said something persuasive to move them to bow in worship. Of course it was the Satanic verses. There is no allusion to anything else in the biographical material. Neither is anything specifically recorded in Sahih Hadith or the Quran that refers to other than the Satanic Verses event.

The Hadeeth cited by Silas is reproduced below in correct and complete form to show Silas’ distortion and perhaps editing. Notice, that the correct version of Hadeeth does not use the word “pagans.”

The prostration of the Muslims with the atheists. An atheist; is unclean and performs no ablution

 

Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) used to prostrate without ablution.

 

[1071] Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: The Prophet (the blessing and peace of Allah be upon him) prostrated while reciting An-Najm and with him prostrated the Muslims, the atheists, the jinns, and all human beings.

 

The parts of this hadith are in 4862.

 

I am surprised to know that this self-appointed expert of Islaam and Glorious Qur’aan named Silas does not know that there are points and/or places where “prostration” is obligatory while reciting Glorious Qur’aan. A five years old child knows this, but the Crusader Silas don’t. Nevertheless, since Silas has linked this Hadeeth to Surah Al-Najm and insinuated that this Surah has some satanic verses, therefore, let us move on to his next evidence.

Silas evidence from the Glorious Qur’aan:

FROM THE QURAN

There are three passages in the Quran that reference the event. These passages are recorded in the biographical material. The first is the actual passage found in chapter 53, called "The Star", (An-Najm), verses 19 through 26 or so. This passage has already been mentioned.

The second passage is in chapter 22, called "The Pilgrimage", (Al-Hajj), verses 52, 53:

"Never have We sent a single prophet or apostle before you with whose wishes Satan did not tamper. But God abrogates the interjections of Satan and confirms His own revelations. God is all-knowing and wise. He makes Satan's interjections a temptation for those whose hearts are diseased, whose hearts are hardened ...

The third passage is chapter 17, called "The Night Journey", (Al Isra), verses 73 - 75:

"They sought to entice you from Our revelations - they nearly did -hoping that you might invent some other scripture in Our name, and thus become their trusted friend. Indeed had we not strengthened your faith, you might have made some compromise with them and thus incurred a double punishment in this life and in the next. Then you should have found none to help you against Us."

I will let the readers draw their own conclusions provided they examine all the verses cited by Silas according to the meaning of the English word “satanic.”

Silas has perhaps cited all verses he can find that have the word “Satan”, here at this point I like to point out the trickery of Silas, since he has constantly been referring to biographical material in a very vague and ambiguous fashion to dupe the readers. The biography of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) has nothing to do with Glorious Qur’aan, which is divine beside Sunnah. The Muslim aqeedah (belief) is based on Glorious Qur’aan and Sunnah, not on biography like Christians have fabricated accounts of Jesus.

 

Muslims possess the truly Divine message in its original form as of today; whereas Christian Bible has gotten lost so does the language it was revealed into. In fact, Christianity does not even existed at its birthplace.

 

The other rule we Muslims have is pretty simple. We may learn and/or read something about our faith authored by Muslims. As long as it is in the frame word of our Aqeedah based on Glorious Qur’aan and Sunnah, we do accept it. Otherwise we outright reject it. In Islaam human don’t take precedent over Allaah. It is Christianity where human control and approve God. Christian councils decide which book is inspired and which is not by voting on them. Parroting alleged biographical material by Silas is in fact a diversionary tactic he is very carefully using.  My challenge to Silas is as follows:

 

Please present the proof from Surah Najm, Hajj & Isra, that you have cited as your so-called evidence that where, how and which verse/s  is/are Satanic?

Let briefly talk about Surah Najm (Chapter 53) of Glorious Qur’aan. Human knowledge has three well-established sources.

1.                 Human intellect

2.                 Five human senses

3.                 Divine revelation and/or inspiration that God bestows upon selected individuals.

Surah Najm states that how Muhammad (SAW) had received revelation (Ayaat 1-6). Qur’aanic knowledge is absolute knowledge based on the rational argument and common sense, upheld and protected by Allaah. The Surah Najm goes on to establish a fundamental principle regarding Allaah’s omnipotence and justice. It points to the route of man’s success in his relationship to Allaah and defines his limits and responsibilities within overall message of Islaam.

The Surah Najm further says that to reject Muhammad (SAW) is to ignore the revelation given to him and all previous revelations {Ayaat 36-41} The essence of religious belief is to know the Creator through his creations and to recognize His power and authority over everything {Ayaat 42-46} Life is a gift from Allaah…{Ayaat 47-55} Thus God removed the wicked and insolent communities of old… Muhammad (SAW) was one of many warners’, preaching the same basic belief of Tawheed…{Ayaat 59-60}

Now what is satanic about this? In fact Bible is satanic and Jesus’ teachings are satanic. Please read Rebuttal to Silas' "Muhammad and Satan" article. Following is a brief example of Bible to be satanic and Jesus’ teachings to be pure satanic.

According to New Testament Jesus deliberately wanted to stir up quarrels, divisions and fighting of all against each other as we read in:

12:49 I am come to send fire on the earth; and what will I, if it be already kindled?

12:51 Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division:

12:52 For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three.

 

Similarity between Jesus and Satan according to NT: We don’t know for sure whether Jesus was Satan incarnate or vice versa? But the following verses from the Bible are very troubling to us and we find similar rhetoric between Jesus and Satan with same agenda. This raises another question if Jesus was in fact inspired by Satan as we read in Luke 4:6?

Mt 28:18All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.

6  and (Satan) said to him, "To you I will give all this authority and their glory; for it has been delivered to me, and I give it to whom I will.

 

Jesus taught his followers how to be con man without getting caught:

 

“And if thou (John) wouldst know concerning me (Jesus), what I (Jesus) was, know that with a word did I (Jesus) deceive all things and I (Jesus) was no whit deceived.” Jesus Christ to John

 

“Then he (Jesus) said unto them (his disciples), O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken…” (Lu 24:25)

 

Jesus taught his followers how to rob strong man’s house successfully?

 

Mt 12:29 Or else how can one enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house.

 

Mt 29 27 But no one can enter a strong man's house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man; then indeed he may plunder his house.

I challenge to Silas and/or anyone to produce proof that Muhammad (SAW) ever though such evil things? This is satanic, exactly according to American Heritage Dictionary:

All the verses cited from Christian Bible perfectly match the definition of satanic. Readers must know that the Bible is full of satanic teachings, especially Christian Bible.

In conclusion, it is not Muhammad (SAW) who spoke the satanic verses. All the facts presented above points THAT IT IS JESUS, WHO SPOKE SATANIC VERSES!

O you who believe! Take not as (your) Bitânah (advisors, consultants, protectors, helpers, friends) those outside your religion (pagans, Jews, Christians, and hypocrites) since they will not fail to do their best to corrupt you. They desire to harm you severely. Hatred has already appeared from their mouths, but what their breasts conceal is far worse. Indeed We have made plain to you the Ayât (proofs, evidence, verses) if you understand.
