Can we use other than the language of Arabic when we pray to Allah Almighty?

For making Dua (Supplication), the Muslim can make it in their native language.  For doing Salat (Prayer), it has to be done in Arabic.  The Islamic standard for Prayer has always been that it must be done in Arabic.  Perhaps this is why Allah Almighty has some very short Noble Chapters in the Holy Quran.  The smallest is only 3 Noble Verses.  So all a Muslim has to do is memorize (or write on a piece of paper in a TRANSLITERATED form using their native language) Surat Al-Fatiha, which is only 7 Noble Verses long, and a couple Noble short Noble Surahs, such as Surat Al-Kawthar (Chapter 108) and Surat Al-Ikhlas (Chapter 112), which is only 3 and 4 Noble Verses short, respectively.

You see, the Holy Quran is made of 114 Noble Surahs or Chapters.  Chapters 105 to 114 are the shortest Surahs in the Holy Quran.  A Muslim could also choose to memorize a set of or a few Noble Verses from the Holy Quran that are outside Surat Al-Fatiha.  I strongly suggest Ayat Al-Kursi (Noble Verse 2:255), because It is among the best Noble Verses that glorify Allah Almighty.  It is important for all Muslims to speak the Holy Quran in Arabic.  This will ensure the preservation of the Holy Quran's Original Text among all Muslims.  Please visit: http://www.answering-christianity.com/quran.htm to read more about the Holy Quran's preservation.

Furthermore, Allah Almighty Said in the Holy Quran:

[007:204]  When the Quran is read, listen to it with attention, and hold your peace: that ye may receive Mercy.

[073:004]  Or a little more; and recite the Quran in slow, measured rhythmic tones.

[017:078]  Establish regular prayers - at the sun's decline till the darkness of the night, and the morning prayer and reading: for the prayer and reading (the Quran) in the morning carry their testimony.

[046:029]  Behold, We turned towards thee a company of Jinns (quietly) listening to the Quran: when they stood in the presence thereof, they said, "Listen in silence!" When the (reading) was finished, they returned to their people, to warn (them of their sins).

[012:002]  We have sent it down as an Arabic Quran, in order that ye may learn wisdom.

[020:113]  Thus have We sent this down - an Arabic Quran - and explained therein in detail some of the warnings, in order that they may fear God, or that it may cause their remembrance (of Him).

[042:007]  Thus have We sent by inspiration to thee an Arabic Quran: that thou mayest warn the Mother of Cities and all around her,- and warn (them) of the Day of Assembly, of which there is no doubt: (when) some will be in the Garden, and some in the Blazing Fire.

So the Holy Quran was revealed in Arabic, and It also has to be read in Arabic.  Now for those Muslim brothers and sisters who don't speak Arabic, they should work on learning the Holy Quran in Arabic.
