Were cloning, human-cloning, and gender alteration prophesied in Islam?

(a)- Noble Verse 4:119 further proves that the corrupt Bible is not the ancient texts that the Glorious Quran mentioned.

To the normal person 1,500 years ago, this Noble Verse and the ones before It, which I do not wish to delve into in this article, sounded as follows:

1- Allah Almighty Commanded all of the Angels to bow down to Adam, peace be upon him and them.

2- Satan refused and said to Allah Almighty that Adam was created from dust while satan was created from fire, and thus, satan is better than Adam.

4- Satan requested from Allah Almighty to grant him access to all of us, humans, to show Allah Almighty how these so-called great and new creation that Allah Almighty was so proud of that He, the Almighty, Commanded all of the Angels to bow down to their feet in humility, that they (humans) are no more than nothing.

5- Allah Almighty granted satan the access and told him that Curse shall be upon him and all of his followers in the Universe, and all of them will be doomed to Hell for Eternity.

The statement about cutting the cattles' ears and altering the creation of Allah Almighty sounded more like a future superstitious practice done by people. It sounded like it would be something like this:

2- The new modified cattle would now bring good luck and keep the evil spirits out (this is not mentioned in the Noble Quran, but it could've possibly been interpreted like this by some people 1,500 years ago).

This interpretation reminds me of the corrupt Bible in Leviticus 14:49-53 and Leviticus 14:14 that adopted the pagan practices of pagan Palestine and pagan Egypt where in order for you to keep the evil spirits out of your home, all you need to do is bring two birds and some cedar wood, kill one bird, dip the other in its blood along with the wood, and then sprinkle the blood around your house.

But however, as the Scientific quotes and proofs will thoroughly and amply demonstrate below, we not only have a Divine Statement from Allah Almighty that did not refer to future superstitions, but the Divine Statement is both a Stunning future Prophecy and a Scientific Miracle!

The following articles clearly demonstrate the Glorious Quran's Divine Miracle and Prophecy. I discovered this great development from the work of Dr. Harun Yahya, which I listed below. May Allah Almighty be pleased with him. The reason why I wrote this article is because there are few important points that he did not demonstrate in his article. Plus, I have refuted in the main-section below the Jews' and Christians' lie about the Glorious Quran "borrowing" this story from ancient texts. Also, I am going to add scientific videos in the future to further demonstrate the Miracle and Prophecy, insha'Allah (if Allah Almighty is Willing). Otherwise, I would've just linked and propagated his work on my site without needing to write my own version of it.

"Ear cells from a prize Japanese bull that were frozen and cultured in a lab over several months have successfully produced clones, challenging the notion that cells become too stale to duplicate.

Cells used in cloning generally are either fresh or have had fewer that 10 "passages," or periods in a culture medium. But in the current study, ear cells from 17-year-old bull Kamitakafuku went through up to 15 passages over 3 months before they were used to create calves, according to a report in the January issue of the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. The experiments, performed at the University of Connecticut in Storrs, and the Kogashima Prefectural Cattle Breeding Development Institute in Tokyo, Japan, suggest that a library of cells could eventually be used to create clones at any time, even long after the original animals are dead. It also means clones could be produced from cells kept in the laboratory long enough to complete the slow and meticulous process of gene manipulation.

"This is very powerful stuff," said Thomas Wagner, MD, head of cancer research at Clemson University in South Carolina.

The researchers collected Kamitakafuku's ear cells and cultured them for 2 to 3 months. The cells' genetic material then was placed in cow embryos and implanted in surrogate mothers. Four calves were born from cells cultured for 2 months, 2 of which later died--one at birth, the other from a viral infection. Two more clones were born from cells cultured for 3 months." (Source)

So ear cells are a lot more reliable and effective in terms of producing good results for cloning.

"Ear cells from a prize Japanese bull were alternately frozen and cultured in the laboratory for several months then used to produce successful clones, challenging the notion that cells held in the lab become too stale to clone.

To date, cells used in cloning have generally been implanted either fresh or after fewer than 10 �passages,� or periods in a culture medium, the researchers said.

But in the new study, ear cells from a 17-year-old bull, Kamitakafuku, went through up to 15 �passages� over three months before they were used to create calves.

The experiment at the University of Connecticut and the Kogashima Cattle Breeding Development Institute in Japan suggests that a library of cells could eventually be used to create clones at any time � even long after the original animals are dead.

It also means clones could be made from cells that have been kept in the laboratory long enough to do the meticulous � and slow � process of manipulating genes in place.

Wagner was not involved in the study but has reviewed the findings, which are to be published Tuesday in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.

George E. Seidel, of the animal reproduction center at Colorado State University, was less impressed. He said the study is a �genuine advance� with implications for genetic research, but called the study �way oversold.�

In the study, scientists led by Xiangzhong Yang of UConn collected Kamitakafuku�s cells from an �ear punch� � a routine marking procedure similar to piercing a human earlobe.

The cells were cultured for two or three months, then their genetic material was placed in cow embryos and implanted in a surrogate mother." (Source)

Regarding the article above, as Dr. Harun Yahya quoted the German Federal Agricultural Research Center:

"The tissue collection phase is short and simple. Once an animal has been located and restrained, a tissue sample like an ear clipping can be collected within seconds. Furthermore, somatic cells can be collected from all species. � For cattle, pigs, sheep, goats, camelids and llamas, a unified and identical procedure can be used by obtaining a tissue sample from the ear using notchers which are also used for setting earmarks� Clearly, for all species lymphocytes could be used, but somatic cells from ear clippings will be much easier to obtain and are therefore preferable." More proofs from this article that prove that the ear cells are the most preferred cells among all other cells for cloning. Dr. Harun Yahya, in his article below, gives ample more quotes and references regarding using the ear cells in cloning. But my purpose here is to demonstrate why the ear cells are used, and why they are preferred, hence, demonstrating why they were specifically mentioned in the Glorious Quran, and proving the Glorious Quran's True and Divine Miracle and Prophecy.

THE CLONING OF LIVING THINGS

[Satan said:] �I will lead them astray and fill them with false hopes. I will command them and they will cut off cattle�s ears. I will command them and they will change Allah�s creation.� Anyone who takes satan as his protector in place of Allah has clearly lost everything.� (Surat an-Nisa�, 119)

The above verse contains the expression �yubattikunna,� which derives from the verb "battaka� meaning �to cut off or break off.� The term �yughayyirunna� in the verse derives from the verb �ghayyara,� meaning �to change, alter, impair a thing�s original form.� At the end of both verbs appears the confirmatory letter �nun.� With these expressions, verse 119 of Surat an-Nisa� may, in one aspect, be pointing to the scientific activity of copying or cloning of organisms. (Allah knows the truth.) That is because cloning experiments are generally conducted with cells taken from an animal�s ear. To put it another way, a replica living thing is produced with the taking of cells from tissue samples �cut from animals� ears,� just as described in the verse.

A report by the German Federal Agricultural Research Center provides the following information:

Some reports concerning organisms cloned by taking samples from ear tissue include:

- According to a report by Reuters dated 1 May, 2002, a research veterinarian at the University of Sao Paolo in Brazil, Jose Visintin, produced cloned embryos for the first time in the country by using cells taken from the ear of an adult cow.2

- According to a BBC report, South Korean scientists cloned a dog called Snuppy from cells taken from a 3-year-old Afghan hound. Researchers at the Seoul National University extracted genetic material from the cells taken from the ear and placed it into an empty egg cell. An embryo was then obtained by stimulating the cell to divide.3

- Another BBC report said that a new clone had been produced using ear cells from an adult cow in research carried out by Dr. Jean-Paul Renard et al. at the Institute National de la Recherche Agronomique in France.4

- According to information of the official Human Genome Project website, in February 2002, scientists from the Advanced Cell Technologies (ACT) biotechnology company carried out experiments on cloning a cow embryo using the skin cell of the donor cow�s ear.5

- A report by Associated Press, dated 24 January, 2000, announced that Japanese scientists had cloned the clone of a bull for the first time. In the re-cloning, skin tissue samples from the first generation cloned bull�s ear were taken when it was four months old. These cells were then fused with an unfertilized egg from which the nucleus had been removed.6

The way that changes in the creation of living things are referred to in the Qur�an and the expression �cutting off cattle�s ears,� at a time when no branches of science such as genetics or embryology existed, shows that the Qur�an has come down from the Sight of our Lord, Allah, Who is unfettered by time. We are also told at the end of the verse that these people will be disappointed when they alter what Allah has created. The verse may therefore be indicating that cloning will give rise to various problems for human beings. (Allah knows the truth.) Indeed, statements from the Genetic Science Learning Center of the University of Utah provide the following information:

When we hear of cloning successes, we learn about only the few attempts that worked. What we don't see are the many, many cloning experiments that failed! And even in the successful clones, problems tend to arise later, during the animal's development to adulthood.7

Information from the Human Genome Project website take this form:

Dolly, the first mammal to be cloned from adult DNA, [died on] Feb. 14, 2003. Prior to her death, Dolly had been suffering from lung cancer and crippling arthritis. � More than 90% of cloning attempts fail to produce viable offspring. � In addition to low success rates, cloned animals tend to have more compromised immune function and higher rates of infection, tumor growth, and other disorders. Japanese studies have shown that cloned mice live in poor health and die early. � Appearing healthy at a young age unfortunately is not a good indicator of long term survival. Clones have been known to die mysteriously. For example, Australia's first cloned sheep appeared healthy and energetic on the day she died, and the results from her autopsy failed to determine a cause of death.8

In general terms, the risks arising from cloning experiments are as follows:

1) A high failure rate: The level of success is just 0.1%-3%. That means a failure rate of 970-999 for every 1000 experiments.9

2) Problems during development: Cloned animals that do survive generally have abnormally larger organs compared to the originals. This may lead to respiration and circulation difficulties, unhealthy kidneys and brain, and an impaired immune system.

3) Abnormal gene expression patterns: Although clones have the same DNA sequences as the originals, the cell nucleus in the clone does not have the same program as that in a natural embryo. To put it another way, the DNA cannot express the right set of genes essential for the development of the clone at the right time. For example, cells of all kinds, nerve, bone, blood or skin for example, all have different programs but the genetic programs in the clone embryo do not work as healthily as those in a natural embryo.

4) Telomeric differences: Chromosomes are shortened as cells divide. The reason for this is that DNA sequences at both ends of a chromosome, known as telomeres, are shortened during each DNA replication. As an animal grows older, the telomeres shorten as part of that aging. Therefore, the copied life form has shortened chromosomes from the moment it is born, just as if it were actually older.

Genetic material taken from living cells is used in cloning experiments, but fertilization takes place artificially. The reproduction mechanism created by Allah is thus impaired with these methods, and unidentified diseases, developmental deficiencies and early deaths are encountered. The way that it was reported 1400 years ago that scientists would engage in cloning and that the problems awaiting people therefrom are emphasized, clearly reveals that the Qur�an is a Divine scripture.

In the cloning process, DNA from a cell of the living thing planned to be copied is placed under the microscope and placed into an egg cell from another member of the same species. The DNA of the animal intended to be copied is used for this. An electric shock is then applied, which stimulates the egg cell to start dividing. The embryo continues to divide and is placed into the womb of a member of the species, and is then left to develop and be born.

This is another official Government web site, and it is also part of Dr. Harun Yahya's list of references above:

"In February 2002, scientists with the same biotech company reported that they had successfully transplanted kidney-like organs into cows. The team of researchers created a cloned cow embryo by removing the DNA from an egg cell and then injecting the DNA from the skin cell of the donor cow's ear. Since little is known about manipulating embryonic stem cells from cows, the scientists let the cloned embryos develop into fetuses. The scientists then harvested fetal tissue from the clones and transplanted it into the donor cow. In the three months of observation following the transplant, no sign of immune rejection was observed in the transplant recipient." (Source)

Some Jews and Christians might come and say that the story of satan refusing to bow down to Adam exists in ancient texts that are outside the Bible. I say that this would be a very desperate attempt from them for the following reasons:

1- Yes, the story of satan refusing to bow down to Adam, peace be upon him, exists in the ancient books of "The Life of Adam and Eve" and "The Second Book of Enoch" [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6].

2- I searched both books and found absolutely nothing about cutting or slitting ears and altering GOD Almighty's creation. Absolutely nothing of this sort is mentioned in either book or in any other known book, that I know of, today other than the Glorious Quran.

3- So while the story exists, which is rejected by the Jews and Christians and it is not part of their corrupt and man-altered Bible, but the Divine Miracle and Prophecy that exists in the Glorious Quran's version does not exist in the ancient books.

This topic is discussed in great details at: Which "Book" is the People of the Book's? article. But I just wanted to make it crystal-clear that the corrupt Bible of today that was generated from the council of Nasea is not the ancient Books that Allah Almighty talked about in the Noble Quran.

The very fact that the story of the fall of satan is not anywhere found in the current gospel of porn, the book of women's vaginas and breasts taste like "wine", and the book of she wished if her boyfriend (lover) was her actual BIOLOGICAL BROTHER, so that it wouldn't be scandalous to bring him into home and to "their bed" before everybody in the block and without secrete, proves to me that that it is corrupt and false. Plus, such pornographic book of whoredom can not be from GOD Almighty.

Again, the Noble Quran is filled with scientific statements and notions. These are statements of Allah Almighty describing how He created things on earth and in the Universe. What's most amazing is that all of these scientific statements and notions had been proven to be in perfect agreement with science and our modern-day scientific discoveries. Allah Almighty made the Noble Quran be Prophet Muhammad's (peace be upon him) Everlasting Divine Miracle and proof for Prophethood. The Holy Book certainly stood the test of time 1,500 years ago with Its Claims, Prophecies and Miraculous language eloquence, and it does again and again in our day today with Its overwhelming agreement with science and discoveries that were not known to man 1,500 years ago.

Allah Almighty Said: "We will soon show them Our signs in the Universe and inside their selves, until it will become quite clear to them that it is the truth. Is it not sufficient as regards your Lord that He is a witness over all things? (The Noble Quran, 41:53)"
